CCAZ Session 2

If it is not in one of these five places, it does not know it. It will guess.

1. **What you paste.** The chat window. Gone when you close the tab.
2. **What you attach.** The look-ahead, the roster, a spec PDF, a photo of a ticket. It reads the file, not your memory of it.
3. **What you saved.** A project or notebook: the files and the standing rules, together, so you stop re-pasting.
4. **Your company account.** Copilot with Work IQ on: Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive. Only what you already have permission to open.
5. **The open web.** Work IQ off, and Researcher. Questions about the world, not about your job.

**The Copilot switch.** Work IQ on answers from your company files, mail, and calendar. Work IQ off answers from the internet. A question about your own job only works with Work IQ on.

## An agent is three things
The instructions. The files it reads. Where it stops.
It gets written the way we wrote the Crew Planner: run it, catch what it got wrong, add one line, run it again. Round 4 is Monday in your shop.

## Every connector has two switches
**Look.** It can read what you can read. Turn this on. Watch it for a month.
**Change.** It can send, file, post, or update. Leave this off until you have seen it be right on your own look-ahead.
The sentence for IT: "Which connectors are on, and are they read-only?"
Second sentence: "Do I have a Microsoft 365 Copilot license, or just Copilot chat?" Notebooks, Researcher, and agents need the paid one.

## The same four ideas in three tools

| A saved way of working (a skill) | Agent, created from the chat window | Custom GPT | Skill, or project instructions |
| A connector | Work IQ; Microsoft 365 built in | Connectors in settings | Connectors in settings |
| Research with sources | Researcher | Deep research | Research |

## This week
1. One project or notebook for the job eating your week. Three files in it.
2. The Crew Planner, Round 3 instructions, with your own look-ahead and roster. Owner's name stripped.
3. The one sentence to IT.

## Every Monday for a month
Run the planner before the crew meeting. Write down what it got wrong. Add one line. Count the minutes.

## Still true from Session 1
Point at the source. Show the math. Check one thing you know. Let it ask first.
It plans and drafts. You book, send, and sign.
